Hi Adrian - Thanks for dropping by, and for the kind word. Yo u're right about Dostoevsky, et al, in that their scope and the scale of their ambition was / is much wider than that o f the cotnanvionel crime novel. "Who killed everybody?" I like it ...By the same token, I think the great crime writer s are entitled to consider themselves on a par with the Dost oevskys et al in terms of scope and ambition ...
