Do#8&n217;t lump Kubrick or Malick in with Kurosawa. Kurosaw a is extremely over rated (aside from Thron of blood) all hi s film are good but not works of art Masaki Kobayashi is muc h better. If want really artist try Andrei Tarkosky or Ingm ar Bergman. Its stuck up people like you that give the peopl e who love art cinema a bad name. Is Nolan on par with Kubri ck or Malick? hell no but he’s a dam good director and you can say he sucks when you make a film better than his b est. | |
